				Highlights of MHEC's contract with Oracle MHEC and Oracle have teamed up to offer unique contract features, including: • discounts that vary by product category, ranging from 0-50% for education institutions, and 0-29% for other public sector purchasers • discounts that escalate based on individual purchase size (over $1.5 million) • discounts that escalate based on overall MHEC contact activity • special discount consideration for exclusive agreements (by institution) • special discounts for standard configurations • maintenance discounts of 50-67% for education institutions, and 20-37% for other public entities • ability to purchase through resellers The contract between Sun and MHEC is effective November 2, 2009, through June 30, 2012, and may be extended up to four years (until June 30, 2016).
