Eligibility to Purchase by Sister Compacts - WICHE and SREB
Several MHEC contracts have been extended to allow purchases from within the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) and the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) states. Just click on the vendor name that interests you and look in the eligibility matrix under the category "Non-MHEC States" to see if WICHE or SREB are listed. If they are, the same WICHE or SREB market segments (higher education, K-12, etc.) can use the contract as from MHEC states. Click on the appropriate link. Go to Purchase from Partners.
 Institutions in the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE) member states are eligible to purchase off of MHEC contracts. Click here for important information for institutions in the WICHE member states (Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota*, Oregon, South Dakota*, Utah, Washington, Wyoming) *The Dakotas are members of both compacts - MHEC and WICHE.

 Institutions in the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB) member states are eligible to purchase off of MHEC contracts. SREB members are Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.
Interested institutions, systems, or states located in the SREB region should contact Rob Trembath 612-624-1812 or Grant Crawford 612-626-6383 about their ability to use the MHEC contracts.
